Starting Over

Year 2011 is over (thank goodness) and now it is time to start anew and fresh!

Just like Marie, I am my weight did not dramatically change since last January. My exercise regimen was on and off throughout the year. When I was doing the customer service gig from home during the holidays I barely exercised. I would probably do one or two Zumba classes during the week and I was my eating habits were quite bad. It doesn't help that my sister and cousins LOVE McDonalds and pizza so much! Once the toxic smell of that garbage hits my nose, I'm in muffin top heaven munching on the french fries.

Now it is major time for an assessment and make some changes. With everything that happened during the holidays, school starting again, and family dynamics completely altered, I hope I can do it.

It's Clobbering Time!!!

Game Over, Start Over

So...it's a New Year. Happy 2012! This means that everyone is thinking about resolutions. We all know that getting fit and healthy are among the most popular resolutions. No doubt this is number one on my list as well. I'm back to the weight I was last time I started a diet which means I'm at the same weight I was at this time last year. Depressing...

I know that I would have been able to keep better control had I not broke my back for a few months. Nothing I can do now except to accept the damage, fix the damage, and to change. And that is what I will do. There are so many inner psychological battles I need to change first before I can start to succeed with a diet. So, that is what I'm doing now.

One thing that I have to get into my head is the fact that in my current lifestyle, my original Healthy Choice diet is the best way to go. I'd like to go on other diets, but...I must first just get the weight off by any way I can. My original diet. Period.

The game is over. I must start over.
Here I go!

I wish you all a healthy year!
