The Real Calories Of Coffee

(Here starts my many entries featuring COFFEE. Yes, apparently it's a big deal.)

I do not think that coffee as it's self has any calories, but the things you add is what adds the calories to coffee. I add 2 Sweet and Lows (which have no calories) and I add half of a cup of 2% milk which is 61 calories. So really, coffee...for me...is only 61 calories. That is less than a beef and bean burrito. Not bad as a snack choice, depending on what type of food item I am looking for. Although, coffee fills me up more than the burrito. Also, it makes me feel warm and it's sweet and it...for some reason...makes me feel good. I have always liked the idea of drinking coffee and coffee is seen as such a necessity to people for getting things done. It makes me feel like I am about to get some work done or at least should get some work done. Coffee is synonymous with writers. I have always wanted to be more of a coffee drinker because I think it would make me feel like writing, like a better writing, make me write more. It for some reason makes me feel intelligent. It's the smart drink! lol.

I will never get fancy coffee again because my 61 cal coffee is good enough for me. If I go out somewhere and want coffee I have to really be careful. I have to make sure it comes to me black and then I add the sugar and milk. I might be able to handle fat free milk if offered with a regular cup or iced coffee. But! I must bring my own sweet and low just in case they don't have any. If I am at a restaurant then they will have sweet and low. If I go to starbucks or some other fancy place, then I will have to bring SnL just to be sure.
